About the Program

The Gandel Holocaust Studies Program for Australian Educators is a long-term professional-development program aimed at training a cadre of expert Holocaust educators who are active throughout Australia.

The objective of the Gandel Holocaust Studies Program is to form an active and organized network of Australian educators committed to teaching about the Holocaust and its universal implications, using an interdisciplinary and age-appropriate approach.

Application Form

You may view and submit an application for the 2016 Gandel Program here.
The dates for the 2016 seminar are December 27, 2015- January 13, 2016.

The deadline for all applications for the 2016 seminar is on Saturday July 4th, 2015.

Please note: For secondary school educators from Victoria only, the deadline for applications for the 2016 seminar is Tuesday August 4, 2015.

Available Scholarships

Teachers applying to the Gandel Holocaust Studies Program for Australian Educators will be carefully chosen by an Advisory Committee.

In addition to nominating the successful candidates who will participate in the Gandel Holocaust Studies Program, the Advisory Committee also offers various scholarships. click here.
