Sunday to Wednesday: 09:00-17:00
Thursday: 9:00-20:00 *
Fridays and Holiday eves: 09:00-14:00.

Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

* The Holocaust History Museum, Museum of Holocaust Art, Exhibitions Pavilion and Synagogue are open until 20:00. All other sites close at 17:00.

Archbishop of Canterbury to visit Yad Vashem on Wednesday

The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will visit Yad Vashem on Wednesday. The Archbishop will tour the Holocaust History Museum, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children's Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.

 

Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth, Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, will accompany the Archbishop throughout his tour at Yad Vashem.

 

There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Names, Hall of Remembrance and at the signing of the Guest Book. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Remembrance with a valid GPO card, by 15:30.
